Do I need to “play a game”?

No. Gamification is not a game, but its elements applied to real situations.

What “players” do have to do is accomplishing the activities defined by the manager and update the CRM correctly to get rewards and get well positioned on the leaderboard. The sales rep isn’t required to do anything but his current job.

So, you don’t have to worry about distractions during work time.
